Subprocessors

Last Updated: December 8, 2025

YEN uses third-party service providers ("subprocessors") to help deliver our services. This page lists all subprocessors that may process data on our behalf, organized by category.

We carefully select subprocessors that maintain high standards for security and privacy. YEN Terminal itself processes all terminal data locally on your device and does not send command history or terminal output to any third party.

About YEN Terminal Data Processing

YEN Terminal is a local-first application. All terminal operations, command history, and configuration data are processed and stored entirely on your device. The subprocessors listed above are used only for:

  • Hosting our website and documentation (Vercel)
  • Distributing the application download (Vercel CDN)
  • Hosting our source code and tracking issues (GitHub)
  • Providing DNS resolution and security (Cloudflare)
  • Checking for application updates (simple version comparison, no user data)

Changes to Subprocessors

We may update this list as we add or remove subprocessors. We will update the "Last Updated" date when changes are made. Significant changes that affect data processing will be communicated through our release notes.

If you have questions about our subprocessors, please contact us through our GitHub repository.
